Making a Christmas tree out of felt is a great way to add a new twist to the traditional holiday craft. The project is easy and simple to create, and it’s a fun activity for kids of all ages!

Felt can be cut into different shapes, so there are plenty of options for decorations. You can use felt to make your own ornaments and a garland, too!

You’ll need a few supplies to get started. You’ll need a felt fabric glue bottle, scissors, double-sided tape or command strips, and some small decorations.

Start by cutting out a pattern from the felt to form your base. You may want to print the pattern out onto cardstock first, then cut out the template on the shinier side of the felt. This will help it stick better to the fuzzier side of the felt.

Once you have your pattern, you can cut out all of the pieces you need to make your tree. You can also make several trees at once so you won’t have to do as much cutting each time!

After you have all of your tree pieces cut out, apply a small amount of glue to the top and bottom edges of each piece. Press the glued edges together and place another tree piece on top, pressing down to make sure that the glue holds the pieces together. Continue until you have all of the tree pieces glued to your base.

Then, use a needle-felting tool and follow the manufacturer’s instructions to pounce the tool on the wool felt or roving. Repeat as necessary until your mitten is the desired thickness and size.

Finish your ornaments by using a hot glue gun or fabric glue to attach the decorations. This will ensure that they’ll hold up well and be easily removed if you ever decide to remove them from your tree.

Alternatively, you can make them out of other types of materials and even use glitter. If you do choose to decorate your ornaments this way, be sure that the glitter is not too thick so it doesn’t smear on the surface of the felt.

This Christmas tree is perfect for little hands to hold and play with, so it’s a wonderful option for children that have a hard time handling real Christmas tree branches. They can also decorate it again and again, so there’s always something new to do with it!

To make a Christmas tree out of felt, you will need: A felt fabric glue bottle, scissors, and some small decorations. You can use pom-poms, pipe cleaners, and other items for decoration.

Once you have all of your tree pieces cut out, you can start applying a small amount of glue to the top, bottom, and sides of each piece. You can use a needle-felting tool or fabric glue to apply the glue, but you’ll need to follow the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure that your mitten is the desired thickness and size.
